Having seen new Orleans 1 year after Katrina, 2 years after Katrina and now 3 and half years later, one can get very discouraged seeing the number of neighborhoods where so little has been done. It will take years to re-build and how much money is left and people to help? Seeing the habitat homes at the end of the day only re-enforced how volunteers can make a difference. Working on a house this week and realizing there is so much more to do just on one house, and yet we know another group will arrive next week to pick up where we leave off just like we did on Monday.
